Two thousand five hundred tickets (2,500) will be available for $25. Tickets can be purchased at all Admission ticket outlets (514-790-1245) and the Internet at www.admission.com. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and the pre-game ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm. After the fifth and last inning of the game, fans can meet with the stars who will be available to sign autographs. A host of activities for the whole family will take place afterwards.
ALS is a progressive and fatal neuromuscular disease which paralyzes the body’s voluntary muscles. Since ALS does not impact the senses and the mind may remain unaffected, people with ALS are aware of what is happening to their bodies. Approximately 3,000 Canadians live with ALS.
“These people and their families need resources and support. This is a great awareness building opportunity. The more people are aware, the stronger the Society will become, the more lives we can help,” explains Lise Deschesnes, president of the ALS Society of Quebec.
All proceeds from the event will go for support services for ALS clients.
The event will be made possible thanks to: RDS, CFCF/CTV, Q92 FM, 105.7 Rythme FM, CGI, Stephen R Bronfman Foundation, Mr. Muffler, Cogeco, CNW Telbec and the Montreal Casino
