Dennis Wamsley's Als Walk Site

Dennis Wamsley's - Waumer Walk - Sunday April 27th, 2008 - 11:00 am
Victoria Park, Cobourg, Ontario

My brother Dennis was diagnosed with ALS just over 6 years ago.

Since being diagnosed with ALS my brother Dennis and his Wife (Julie) have been holding an annual walk-a-thon in Cobourg on or about the time of Dennis' birthday.

In the past 6 years Dennis & Julie have managed to raise over $250,000 to donate to the ALS society to help find a cure for this terrible disease. Both Dennis and Julie have approached this disease with a tremendous amount of courage and a determination that makes all of our family feel proud.

One small way we can help is to support this walk-a-thon by participating in the walk or to donate money to find a cure for ALS.

Please use this site to make a donation or register for the event.
Even a small contribution can have a big impact.

Thank you for your support

Jim Wamsley

Team "friends 4 friends" is a group of kids from CDCI West, walking to support Jen McNaughton & family, and friends of ALS!! Watch for us in our "beautiful" hand-painted Tshirts and giggling along the route! Jane Arff

Julie, I would like to get more involved this year. Jer McNaughton is a close family friend. The Medicine Shoppe will be putting in a team. Are we able to advertise on T-Shirts or does your charity frown on this? Please let me know I have alot of ideas I would like to get going ASAP. Leisa Barrett
