The WALK for ALS is a volunteer-led, community-based fundraising event that brings Canadians together to show their support for people living with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), honour those who have passed away, and share their hope for a future where ALS is a treatable, not terminal disease. It is the single largest fundraising event for ALS in Canada, taking place in 85 communities, and last year raised $4 million. Go to the event.
