Your equipment makes a difference

Over time, someone living with ALS will need different types of equipment as the disease progresses and they lose mobility and communication abilities. Donated equipment can have a significant positive impact on the quality of their daily life.

Some of the most commonly accepted items include: Hospital beds and mattresses, Portable lifts and lift systems, manual wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs without tilt, wheeled commodes and powered bath lifts. In order to meet our Equipment Guidelines, any equipment accepted as a donation must be less than 5 years of age and in good condition with no missing parts or repair required.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept items that are not part of the ALS Canada Equipment Loan Program. This includes stairlifts, feeding tubes and supplies, medication, bedding and some mobility items such as canes and crutches.

If you have a piece of new or gently-used equipment (that is listed below) that you would like to donate to the ALS Canada Equipment Loan Program, please fill out the below contact form or call 1-800-267-4257.

If the item you wish to donate is not listed below, then unfortunately we cannot accept it as we do not stock or supply this item as part of our equipment loan program. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
